What to know about using Vetonom, moving your data, security and the product’s current limitations.

Does Vetonom connect to Ministry systems?

No. It does not connect to or send data to the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s VETBİS, HBS or e-prescription systems. It prepares required records, finds missing details and tracks deadlines. The veterinarian submits in their own official session and then closes the task.

Where will my data be hosted?

Hosting in Türkiye is planned. The provider, data processing terms and service scope will be clarified during the pilot; we do not guarantee a provider or location that has not yet been finalised.

Can I use it if the internet goes down?

Vetonom is a cloud-based web application and requires an internet connection. Offline working and later synchronisation are not offered. You can access saved records again when connectivity returns.

Can I import data from my previous system?

Owner and patient records can be imported by CSV. Review invalid or missing fields in the dry-run report first. Re-uploading the same file does not duplicate records. Other record types and file compatibility will be assessed in the pilot discussion.

How many users can I add?

The product supports five roles: administrator, veterinarian, technician, reception and accounting. User limits and package scope are being defined during the pilot; we do not promise unlimited users.

Can I use it on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The web application adapts from 360 px phones to desktop without installation. Access the same workspace in your browser; no separate native mobile app is required.

How does Vetonom support data protection compliance?

Tools include encrypted and masked Turkish national ID numbers, access logs, request and breach tracking, data export, anonymisation and privacy notice versions. They support Türkiye’s KVKK obligations; they are not certification or a guarantee of legal compliance.

Are backups supported?

Encrypted backups and recovery rehearsals are part of the security approach. Retention periods, recovery objectives and service terms will be clarified in the pilot agreement; no fixed duration is promised here.

How much does Vetonom cost?

Packages are being shaped during the pilot. There is no published price list. Tell us about your team and needs to apply for early access or request a demo.

Are e-Fatura and e-Arşiv available?

No, they await a provider connection. The existing billing and payments module supports internal clinic tracking; it is not the same as issuing official electronic documents.

Are SMS and WhatsApp reminders being sent?

Actual delivery is not available yet. Reminder infrastructure, permission checks and message logs are ready; delivery will become available after a provider is selected and connected.

Does the product send email notifications?

Product email notifications await a provider connection. This website’s contact form does not submit data to a server; it opens an editable message in your own email application.

Are AI features available?

No. AI-assisted consultation drafts and laboratory file reading are only part of the future vision. The current product does not include these features.

Who can close a consultation?

Only veterinarians can close consultations and confirm official record tasks. Other team members work within the tasks permitted by their roles.

When is inventory deducted?

Used medicines are deducted automatically when the veterinarian closes a consultation. The batch closest to expiry is used first. The movement ledger cannot be deleted; corrections are recorded with reasons.

Are official record tracking periods fixed?

Defaults are 15 days for patient registration, 10 for vaccination, 10 for prescription closure and 15 for goods receipt. Clinics can change them. These are software tracking defaults; you should separately check the applicable obligation and current deadline.

Can I export my data?

Reports support CSV export and the data protection tools include personal data export. Full data transfer and other export needs should be discussed when defining pilot scope.

How do I join the pilot programme?

Tell us about your clinic and needs in the contact form. It opens your email application and you send the message. Applying does not automatically create an account or guarantee acceptance.
